Veeam Agent for Windows is warning that the repository is getting low on free disk space. But setting limits in VBR doesn’t help. Read how to change the values before being warned by Veeam Agent for Windows / Veeam Endpoint Backup
By default Veeam Agent for Windows (VAE) warns the end user at the client side and the admin via Veeam Backup and Replication (VBR) on the server side when the free disk space of the endpoint repository is getting below 10%. You are not able to change this value wether with the GUI of VAW nor with the GUI of VBR.
In order to change this value you have you have to create / change a new registry value on the clients running VAW:
HKLM\Software\Veeam\Veeam Endpoint Backup\BackupRepositoryFreeSpaceThresholdPercent REG_DWORD32 = new value in percent
This registry setting can easily be distributed by a GPO, if you have any questions on how this can be done, don’t hesitate to ask!
